Oz en Oisans is on of the smaller villages in the area around Alpe d'Huez, and therefore also provides access to the entire ski area. In the pedestrianized centre with restaurants, shops and a children's animation team this ski destination is equipped with all modern comforts one would want. A typical village for a pleasant family holiday, that still gives access to the most challenging black slopes that the area has to offer. The Alpe d'Huez ski resort is fantastic for advanced skiers because of the large number of black slopes. These are easily accessible to the modern skilifts, and a small cable-train. With the Sarene slope this ski area includes one of the longest black slopes in the world. A non-stop descent of nearly 17 km ensures that you have a nice long and uninterrupted descent. For snowboarders, the broad slopes of the ski area very well suited, and there is often a possibility to board into the powdersnow to the left or right of the prepared slope. The Espace Freestyle snowpark as it is called, stretches out over more than 1.5 km and includes: one halfpipe with snowcanon, one quarterpipe, two funparks, a High jump, Hips, Tables, Boardercross, and Quatters Hoops.
