Ski hire La Tania - La Tania is one of the eight French destinations in winter sports, which are part of Les Trois Vallees ski area. Situated at 1400 metres altitude, the snow is always good. La Tania is a modern, car free village between Meribel and Courchevel. The chalets that were built in Scandinavian style give the city centre a cozy and charming appearance. If you are dreaming of endless slopes and another direction to ski every day, more than 600km of slopes within one area than you are at the right place in Les Trois Vallees. Courchevel and La Tania are well fit for both beginners and experts. The flank of the Roc Merlet has a number of very nice skislopes. Lifts such as in Meribel take you from down in the valley, up to the highest peaks, such as the Roc de Fer and Mont Vallon after which you can make extremely long descents without having to stop. The new Roc Des Trois Marches gondola connects Meribel with Les Menuires and Val Thorens. You can also find great runs at the top of La Masse close to Les Menuires. The black ski run Marielle Goitschel, named after one of the local Olympic champions, is very challenging. In Val Thorens, you will really appreciate the cable car to Cîme Caron, the highest point in the three valleys. At the top this has one of the most spectacular views you will ever see anywhere in the world. Besides the snowpark in Val Thorens, there is a multitude of snowparks in the area Les Trois Vallees. The most beautiful parks are located in Les Menuires, Meribel-Mottaret and Meribel.
