Plaine Dranse, perhaps the most beautiful slopes of the area, starting from Avoriaz is easily accessible. This valley has plenty to offer for every skiers and snowboarders of every skilllevel. Beginners often attract to the area around Le Pleney directly accessible by skitram or cabinelift. On of the most challenging slopes can be found around the famous Col de Joux Plane, where beautiful long black go all the way down into the valley. In the Swiss part is the Mur at Chavanette very challenging. A ski holiday with everything a snowboarder could wish for. Few plate-lifts, lots of off-piste opportunities and some great boardercross slopes and snowparks. The off-piste runs from the Col du Fornet are great, and offer almost all year round an abundence of powder. Snowboarders that like to descend past the tree lines can enjoy beautifull areas in the Les Gets Neighbourhood.
